Ms. Shelley began Ballet Classes at an early age, and soon included tap and jazz to her studies. As a young teenager she attended the National Inter Lochen eight week summer camp where she majored in dance and theatre. She danced with the David Allen Company in Mt. Clemens, she performed in the Nutcracker, and did some musical performances with the Richmond Theatre. She received her teaching certificate through Dance Educaters at the University of Western Kentucky, where she studied with Russian Ballet Master Henry Danton. Shelley owned Shelley's Spotlight School of Dance for thirteen years ,and contunued her own studies through workshops and master classes. At competitions many of her students won top placements, and she received top choreography awards.
Several of her students have gone on to dance professionally in New York, California, and Los Vegas and others have opened their own dance Schools. More recently she choreographed Fiddler on the Roof for the Clio community Theatre, and some cheerleading numbers for Mayfield school as well as some dance numbers for their talent show.
Casey began dancing at age 7 and joined the Competition Dance Team at the age of 8. Casey has taken full advantage of any extra training opportunities through Conventions, Competitions and Camps in and out of state. In her 20 years of dance she has trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Gymnastics, Theatrical, Hip Hop & Modern. She has won may awards and Scholarships. Her first at the age of 12 at the American Heritage Dance Convention. Later being picked to train in New York as a K.A.R. Kid. Then travailing to North Carolina on scholarship for a dance intense program through Dance Revolution. She has also been involved in community benefit shows like Christmas at the Heritage and Mayville and North Branch Christmas Benefits. She attended a summer at Blue Lakes Dance Academy and was chosen to perform there. Casey has won Outstanding Performance and Peoples Choice awards at Dance Et Cetera Dance camp.Casey began assisting at the age of 13 and teaching at the age of 17 before opening her own Dance Studio. Casey continues updating her dance technique by taking classes at dance Conventions. in Dallas TX with Dance Revolution and training in Kalamazoo MI with Music Works Teacher's Tour. Casey is excited about another year of dance and hopes her dancers enjoy learning as much as she enjoys teaching them.

Lauren is a graduate of Lapeer East High School. She will continue her education by attending U of M Filint. Lauren has taken dance classes since she was 4 years old. In the 17 years she has danced her classes consist of Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Modern and Hip Hop. Lauren joined our studio 4 years ago joining the competition Dance Team and taking all the classes she could to improve her skills. Lauren has attended and competed at convention throughout MI and in Indiana winning many awards for her Group dances and with her Solos. She has won dance scholarships to attend New York and Chicago. She is excited about attending more conventions with the SNS staff such as Revolution and Teacher only conventions to improve her skills even more. Ms. Lauren has many new ideas and can't wait to help her dancers learn and enjoy dance as much
as she does.

*Ms. Brittany Walroth*
Instructor
Brittany has been dancing for 18 years. She started when she was only 3 years old, and has loved it ever since. She has been dancing competitively since the age of 8 and has competed at the regional and national level. Her dance group has won many awards including a 4th place while competing nationally in Chicago. While competing she took classes from Sonya Tayeh from the show "So you think you can Dance" , and some other great choreographers . Brittany has taken classes in jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, lyrical, and modern. Not only did she dance at a studio she also danced on the Davison Varsity dance team throughout high school. Dance has been a special part of Brittany's life for a very long time, and she is excited to be teaching this year at SNS Christian Dance.
